When it comes to cooking meat I am not the best. I tend to overcook the meat to ensure it’s safe to eat. One morning I was running late and realized I didn’t have plans for dinner. I Googled how to make shredded chicken in a crockpot. Viola! Thanks to The Salty Marshmallow I have made this recipe three times!
3 lbs chicken
1 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon each: salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder
Place all ingredients in a crockpot and cook.
This time around I used some of the shredded chicken for Whitney Bond’s Buffalo Chicken Ring.
I have used in the past for chicken salad. May I recommend the chicken salad recipes from Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Table Cookbook. They are both phenomenal!
